LOST GARDENS > Where are the Gardens of Khajuraho? |
The temple city of Khajuraho and the gardens of Rajnagar lie in the central Indian State of Madhya Pradesh. Rajnagar is five kilometres from Khajuraho. It can be reached easily by car, bicycle or on foot. Rajnagar is a small village, but in former times it was a prosperous town where the Maharajahs and other members of the nobility liked to stay (Rajnagar means King’s Place).
